The shared vision of an engineer, a physicist, and a medical doctor from different disciplines laid the foundations of Suryon.
Among the founders are partners of City Kurumsal Değerleme ve Danışmanlık A.Ş., a firm authorized by the Capital Markets Board (CMB) for machinery and equipment appraisal. This partnership made it possible to transform strong field experience in engineering and consultancy into advanced technology solutions.
Suryon’s core team is composed of mechanical, electrical-electronics, computer, systems, civil, and survey engineers, as well as architects. The field experience gained through feasibility studies, machinery appraisals, and investment monitoring processes has merged with a vision to develop advanced control, automation, and energy technologies.

Bu yapı, projeyi tek muhatap olarak uçtan uca koordine etmemizi, plan‑takvim‑raporlamayı tek yerde toplamamızı sağlar. Mevzuat, iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ile çevre gereklilikleri çalışma standardımızdır; ilerleme ve kabul kararları düzenli kayda alınır. Project Coordination and Field Management
Mert Erişen is responsible for business development, project coordination, and field management at Suryon. He ensures the timely and compliant completion of field applications, mechanical assembly, and logistics flow from design to commissioning; he coordinates the work program, quantity survey, and resource plan. With a culture of inspection and regulatory discipline stemming from many years of public service and private sector experience, he ensures full compliance with OHS and environmental standards; he ensures that acceptance files are prepared regularly and auditable. Additionally, he is a partner of City Kurumsal Değerleme A.Ş., authorized for machinery and equipment valuation under SPK regulations, and provides services to numerous public and private sector clients.
Software & Automation
Giray Ötken is responsible for software and automation architecture at Suryon. He coordinates the setup and maintenance of digital twin systems, the design of data analytics infrastructures, and the implementation of artificial intelligence integrations; ensuring that monitoring-control and work planning tools operate in a single flow. This increases visibility during the transition from design to operation, accelerates decision-making processes, and permanently boosts production efficiency. He is also the CEO of Orbycra Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş., and with his corporate-scale software and integration experience in this role, he contributes to the standardization and scalability of processes in Suryon projects.
System Engineer, Automation Unit (EPC)
Nurettin Kalay establishes the automation backbone in EPC projects; he manages electrical-automation project design, panel design/manufacturing supervision, and on-site electrical works in a single flow. He develops multi-brand PLC software and clear HMI/panel interfaces; ensures operational readiness with FAT/SAT, commissioning, operator-maintenance training, and technical support. Thanks to his process knowledge and standard compliance gained in projects carried out in both public and private sectors, documentation-risk management maintains inter-team coordination and calendar-budget discipline; when necessary, BESS integration, SCADA/IoT, and grid compliance are consolidated in the same package as the investment file.
