The Suryon team carried out the modernization of the PLC control system, HMI interface, and servo/temperature control infrastructure of a fully automatic side-seal bag making and packaging machine. The project was executed with a focus on precise synchronization, energy efficiency, and operator safety in the production line.
Scope:
- Electrical & Panel: Renewed PLC panel and drive circuits (servo and temperature controllers); reorganized cabling, sensors, and actuator connections according to industrial standards.
- Software: Revised PLC logic and HMI interface; added auto/manual modes, alarm and maintenance menus, production counters, and recipe management.
- Safety: Reconfigured safety relay, E-Stop, door interlock, and protective sensors.
- Testing & Commissioning: Completed functional testing, temperature and speed calibration, and system commissioning.
- Data & Integration: Prepared production counts, downtime reasons, and process parameters for upper-level system/SCADA integration.
