Pressurized Gas Treatment / Filtration Skid – Automation & Electrical Rehabilitation
The Suryon team executed PLC panel & electrical redesign, instrumentation integration, and sequence control optimization on a pressurized gas treatment/filtration skid.
Scope:
Electrical & Instrumentation: Updated PLC panel and electrical design; organized instrumentation I/Os and valve–pump/compressor outputs to meet standards.
Safety: Structured safety circuits with a safety relay, covering overpressure, E-Stop, and access interlock.
Control: Optimized sequence control and purge timing; updated HMI alarm/maintenance menus.
Testing & Commissioning: Completed FAT/SAT; prepared trend–alarm–process data for SCADA integration.
Project Summary:
Unit: Pressurized gas treatment / filtration skid
Our Role: Electrical redesign, safety circuits, sequence & purge control optimization, HMI update, FAT/SAT
Outputs: Standards-compliant infrastructure, optimized cycles, SCADA-ready dataset
Key Outcomes:
Safety: Reduced risks via safety-relay-based architecture and overpressure monitoring
Efficiency: More stable processes and fewer downtimes through optimized sequence & purge timing
Traceability: Trend/alarm/process data prepared for real-time monitoring in upper-level systems
