The Suryon team modernized the PLC-based control system, HMI interface, VFD-driven power circuits, and safety architecture of a textile fiber recycling (opening/shredding) machine. The project was carried out with a focus on consistent product quality, dust and emission safety, and operator protection.
Scope
- Electrical & Panel: Renewed PLC panel, power distribution, and VFD circuits; reorganized motor and sensor cabling according to industrial standards.
- Software: Revised PLC logic and HMI interface; added auto/manual modes, recipe management (material type–speed–roller clearance), and alarm/maintenance menus.
- Safety: Implemented a safety relay-based system with E-Stop, door interlocks, and load, temperature, and current monitoring.
- Process Control: Integrated synchronized speed control for feed screw, opener rollers, and aspiration line; maintained closed-loop throughput at target kg/hour rates.
- Testing & Commissioning: Completed functional testing, speed/temperature calibration, and acceptance procedures.
- Data & Integration: Prepared production totals, energy consumption, alarm/downtime logs, and process trends for upper-level system/SCADA integration.
Project Summary
- Machine Type: Textile fiber recycling / opening machine
- Our Role: Electrical redesign, PLC/HMI software upgrade, VFD-based speed control, safety circuits, testing and commissioning
- Outputs: Standards-compliant control infrastructure, stable product quality, traceable data structure
Key Outcomes
